I just love the fact that the team built on FA signings and trades are beating the team built on tanking and high draft pix... kinda flies in the face of this whole "you gotta build your team through the draft" mentality... plus FK WEMBY! lol
Truth. Once they start paying Wemby $50M+ per year (and accolades could put him closer to $60M), it’s going to be much harder to put quality players around him. They have a luxury of him being MVP-level during his rookie contract.

Rockets still should have taken him. Doesn’t matter. Draft then figure it out. Mobley didn’t workout for the cavs but they still took him. Spurs put castle on the bench his first year and traded for fox so none of it matters. He still would be a rocket no matter what
Wemby taunting Robinson was the karmic cyclone that derailed the Spurs. They then started jacking up shots vs treating each possession as important. Then Fox committed the ultra selfish play going to the lay-up vs pulling it out and running clock. I'm not a NY fan, but have new respect for OG. Dude is a pro's pro.
James Dolan canceling both Knicks watch parties at the Garden AND displacing long time Knick fans with the wealthy elite is FAR more of a karmic cyclone than anything Wemby did. The fact Taylor Swift gets to have a girls night out at the Garden while long time Knicks fans can't even congregate outside of MSG is 100% why I'm rooting against the Knicks because **** that. I said what I said.
I'm far more worried about whether NY makes it out of the East again than whether Wemby will have another title run but I'm willing to let time make my point and remind you about it periodically ;-)

Not to mention that bs trade that landed them DeAaron Fox that should’ve been vetoed. It still pisses me off the Rockets had to trade Green, Brooks, and a lottery pick for an aging Durant yet the Spurs got Fox without having to trade one of Vassell, Johnson, Castle, (even Sochan) or any pick from the 2025 draft. And then to throw icing on the cake the NBA gives them the #2 pick in last years draft as if they needed it. I personally feel Adam Silver and the NBA did a better job of rebuilding the Spurs than the Spurs GM
Wemby cheated again on that last play of the game that was an attempted lob to castle. He literally shoved hart down on that screen. Castle almost had it. Luckily Harper threw a terrible lob
Rich people doing rich people things, that's between the owner and his fans. Those actions didn't stop them from making a historic comeback. The NBA loves having the Knicks in the championship and last night's comeback will be embelished into perpetuity. I could care less about the above, but Wemby's actions throughout the series are that of an entitled brat. Never forget...
