If for whatever reason he can't come back he may go down as one of the most prolific Stros hitters in history with his .333 avg, .385 OB% and .750 slug.
It never went away, only when he took the mound during the game. It's one appearance but maybe he's putting it together finally.
It’s all between his ears at this point. Abreu doesn’t strike me as the brightest bulb on the tree… Espada should have just put a cut out of Hader in uniform in the bullpen and Abreu would have had an era of sub 3 this year. Then again, maybe Espada would see the cut out and try to call him into the game.
Abreu hit 96 multiple times Sunday, and hit 97 twice today. Adding another dominant reliever would certainly help matters.
Didnt stay up for it but glad we got the win..................Altuve testing his luck and won, good lord he should have been out by a mile but hey, I will take it Great win.....................Abreau does not suck
Furthering the sentiment that there is no physical problem with him… which is still a much bigger dilemma vis-a-vis usage/leverage.
Altuve knew that the Angel's 2B had a noodle arm and would short hop the throw from the grass to the plate (a bread and butter throw that all SS and 3B make every game). Altuve was a genius for once.
Why wasn’t it blocking the plate? Because the throw took him there or is there some other obscure reason
