I have no idea what planet that the best GM in the league breaks up a team that just went 7 in the WCF one year after winning a championship with their second best player and great rotation player hurt, guts their future for friggin Giannis who is hurt all the time and has been a first round exit for 5 years. I get we are bored, but at least be somewhat realistic.
GMs change course all the time and having a 3 HEADED MONSTER of SGA, Giannis and Williams, plus draft picks moving forward is not bad for the next 3-4yrs
JDub is better and I never expect him to be traded to the Rockets. I do think Hartenstein could be part of a deal to acquire KD, if KD’s team pushes the Rockets to trade him out of Houston.
Are you implying that Jabari or Amen should be traded to the Wizards for Carrington? I don’t think they need Sengun or the 2027 picks from Houston.
Maybe if you sourced this? It sounds like something an OKC resident conjured since last night's game. One game does not a career make, but Holmgren really took a s**t in Game 7.
Houston doesn’t need Whitmore. Carrington can be useful, but it’s not going to be easy to acquire him.
I like Carrington as well. Sarr is a player that I actually could see playing next to Jabari inside of our lineup. it seems if I remember right he had a bad first year and then picked it up Sengun/2027 first and 2029 first for Russell/Sarr/Carrington/Coulibaly Sarr/Adams/ Smith/Amen Durant/Carrington Coulibaly/Reed Amen/FVV obviously I know Bob is quite small, but that is a tin man rotation that I like. It all would depend on Coulibaly and what we think of him internally. I seem to remember him being on a pretty good arc as well. I’m just thinking that maybe they will trade play players like Carrington or Coulibaly because of their draft, and the other players on the roster Then Capela/Russell as reinforcements when needed Wiz could roll out Sengun Davis #1 pick George/Harris Trey Young not a bad start for them and they get future picks from us.
Now might be the time it’s easiest time to get Bub and/or Justin Champanie. We need Whitmore back just as a gesture that our GM/Coach are physically capable of changing their minds about something.
We might need to employ Gemini as our GM. I had Gemini act to make offers and make counters. What it thought was fsir value was surprising. Jaylen Brown, Queta and a 2027 1st for Alpy and Jabari. [Assuming Giannis is traded] Myles Turner and Rollins for Adams, Capela and the Boston 2027 1st [its rationale was salary dump for Milw and reframe around youth] FVV opt out and 3 yrs starting at 14.5M Tari 16.5M starting Keon Ellis 3 yrs taxMLE [6M per] Okogie back on min Thomas Bryant for min FVV / Rollins / Davison Brown / Sheppard / Okogie Turner / Queta / Bryant Durant / Eason / Finney-Smith Thompson / Ellis / [2 x 2rps on 2ways] It then simulated the season and Rockets win 60, and beat Boston in the finals. I dunno... but ok!
Sign Dosummu in FA Trade Sengun/ Thompson for a pick high enough to draft Flemings or Acuff Jr. See what shooters you can get for Tari/FVV etc... in a trade.
Trade KD and a future 1st to the Clips for #5 and filler. This is the way. Take a guard at #5 backcourt: Fred, #5, Reed SF: Amen, Tari PF: Bari, DFS Center: Sengun, Adams, Clint DFS and Fred come off the payroll after next season ($39 mil). Clint and Steveo become moveable expiring contracts. We have all our future picks -1. We reshape new core based on data from this season. This is a soft reset.
Not a chance, mainly because they'd have to send out ~$35m in salary. Rolfstomp. All these insiders .....
It's no worse than the other one who's been claiming to know things we don't through 2 owners, 2 gm's and 6 coaches .... the only guy in the organization who might remain that long is the laundry guy or the janitor.
