Happy to see the Spurs lose. Anyone rooting for the Spurs is not a real rockets fan.

The Spurs do not want to get into a run and gun game with the Thunder. Mitch Johnson should try to slow the pace down and play a half court offense with Wemby in the post. But I guess the Spurs are not used to playing that way. Running up and down with the Thunder is a losing proposition.

And just like that The Spurts are not going to dominate The Rockets for the next 10 years....

Once Wemby's body matures and he adds a couple of post moves to his game, he's going to be a tough cover. Tonight's game he was just camping at the three point line, makes it easier to guard him.

Yeah but it doesn't really make sense as a conspiracy theory

Wemby in NYC is much more attractive.

Also, why would some random joe who likely maintains the site with a small team be the one in the know about it?

They are Wemby and the Pips, they are as good as Wemby is. Take him off the team and they aren't a playoff team at all.

It did already, he's just not franchise player material. I was a believer at some point. I guess I can cling on to the argument that he just needs a coach that uses him correctly, only then will he become the franchise player we all deserve.

A 7'4" player running around the perimeter is just stupid.

Victor played like a complete idiot tonight.

This should have been a kill shot win for the Spurs, but the combination of them being stupid along with OKC smoking them from long range is the story most people will talk about.

But maybe fatigue bit the Spurs tonight, particularly Victor. Somehow they came out in the 2nd half flatter than a pancake and fell behind by 20, then chopped the lead to 8 in almost no time. I thought they finally woke up and were about to seize the moment. But that was the closest they got because their defense just wasn't there because of fatigue.
