We know they threatened Colorado funding. Polis chose not to fight. At the end of the day, it probably was the best for the people in his state, but is bad for the Nation and terrible for his political future.

I don't, in the grand scheme of things, mind clemency. We have enough people in Prison. It's the bending the knee that is the problem.

 

Imagine the DOJ claiming guys spraying bear spray and beating police with flag poles and fire extinguishers, as victims of partisan propaganda. Partisan is blaming the violence on Antifa from the start, then turning around and calling them Patriots, persecuted for political purposes, and the whole thing a Day of Love. I never thought I would see a sitting President reward people threatening to hang the Vice President, and beating police as nothing but a Day of Love.

 

Ever stopped to ask yourself why all other Trump rallies have been peaceful except the one in which there were dozens of paid agitators (many Fed, some Antifa) in the crowd?

If you have a state to run then capitulating to a bully is p***y ****. Do what other states have done like CA/NY and sue in court and you'll win every time like they did. Senate democrats have the power to keep the funds in any budget so the law is on your side. Giving up to a bully will only empower the bully to come for more concessions next time around.

First of all they can file for a preliminary injunction and get the funds released much faster than what you think. It worked for both CA/NY. One thing y'all forget is we have blue slips in the senate which means senate democrats choose the federal judges that rule in the state. You mostly have left leaning judges in blue states who will side with you if the law is on your side which it is second

Running an unpopular Mrs Clinton and a Biden all the insiders knew was too old out of loyalty is why they lost the last elections they lost

 

The concern is if Trump will continue to withhold aid to get his way. The forever irony of the rights party is that they blatantly don't believe in it.

 

He's going to do that regardless. The only way to stop him is through the court and to show up in the midterm. The cases brought by the state of CO continue. It didn't stop.
