I don't understand this either, he's got the stuff with a mid 90's FB and a great changeup.

 

Burrows curve and changeup are really good but his 4s and sinker have been awful even though they have decent velo and movement. Last year his sinker was really good so I think the Astros thought they could get him to throw that more in lieu of his 4s and he’d play up, but it hasn’t worked out that way. His xERA is 3.96 so he should eventually start seeing better results but any expectation that Houston was going to turn him into an ace has faded.
