Vasquez has been solid but he’s so outrageously bad at challenges it’s unbelievable. Challenges clear balls in terrible situations, doesn’t challenge non strike calls in prime situations. This inning was such a good example of it. 1-2 count, clear strike 3 bottom of the zone, this shitty inconsistent ump calls it a ball. Challenge would have ended the inning. Instead, hit, then walk, then a ****ing homer to basically end the game with the way this AA lineup has been hitting. Such a catastrophic sequence of events. Vasquez needs to learn the ****ing strike zone and when (and when not) to pull the trigger on these ****ing challenges.
Why can't this team hit homeruns when there are men on bases? Why can't this team get the 9th hitter out? Why can't this team hold runners? Why can't this team steals more bases? Why can't this team hit meatballs? Why?
