FVV had to take on a bigger role because Jalen Green couldn't initiate the offense on a consistent basis.
If FVV is healthy next season, I think Amen will take the biggest leap next year and everyone can let go of these wet dreams of Jalen Green...geez

How did they lose that again?

    Fun times in OKC?

Funny if the KD trade was only to make sure OKC got a worse pick. With JG injured and FFV out the entire year our squad would have stunk.

Dillon and Jalen played hard. Good for them. The Suns got a couple of good players. They’ll be even better next season.

And I'm still glad we traded for KD. Would do it every single time with the same exact players involved.

    There
thatw as the worse part of the game. I felt bad for Jalen. He’s always gotten a crappy whsitle. And thenThey call the same foul for Denji on the next possession

That game was so informative of the best and worst of Jalen Green. It really gave me peace in that we made the right decision. Even at his best his decision making negates his scoring.

Some people are just too blinded by hate or their past posts to ever make the lucid take.

Its crazy that KD missed only 3 games, put up 26/5/4 on elite percentages, and saved the Rockets from being a lotto team while giving their pick to OKC and posters still call him a cancer and keep saying the trade was a mistake. The dude almost replaced 3 starters and our 6th man last year and some posters here still keep saying he should be traded in the offseason. At some point you just cant teach stupid.

I wish Suns took Tari instead of Brooks and the salary stuff matched. KD and Brooks on our team we would have easily hit 60+ wins.

Jalen plays well when he has the freedom to play well. Like early in a game or when teams dont care. Like I give Sengun a lot of **** for his carelessness but how many end of game closeout or game tying plays does Sengun have at this point? I cant even remember *one* Jalen Green closeout bucket in a big game. Only that scramble dive vs Warriors in the play in on the strange foul call that really upset Steve Kerr.

This feels like the most reasonable hindsight 20/20. Tari has just been so inconsistent whether do to injury or the mental aspects of a long season.

Yeah it's wild tbh. I could honestly pass on the drama it's brought with the dickerson ****, but tbh I absolutely feel privileged to have watched some of the shot making in a Rockets uniform this season. You see him on opponents and like yeah it's KD whatever, amazing shooter/potential GOAT scorer tier (though tbh I think prime Beard is more unguardable than prime KD - sue me lol) but when you see it every game? Yeah fair play, he hits some ****ing insane shots. In his own way as impressive as Steph is and that says something. Glad we got to see him as a Rocket and despite the drama (alleged) his public persona has been very pro-Houston so I can't hold that too much against him.

I'm still mindblown that's the same dude from the Bulls. It could be a ****ing AI robot or some **** at this point, I feel like that was an entire lifetime ago.

    Sengun's clutch FG% is over 50%.

    Jalen, on the other hand...

Damn, we needed a rim protector especially when Adams went out......the Suns got a good one at #10.

He gave us one game in the playoffs. The exact reason some of us were saying "don't trade for KD" came to pass. And now we're going to run it back with him another year older after one of the heaviest minutes loads in his career.

He was completely ineffective when I watched. Blocked shots, but nothing else.
