Racism is MAGA - how the hell can we get beyond it?

It’s a shame that your parents raised you to hate white people. My parents taught me to be accepting of all races and of all people as unique individuals.

But yes.... The Constitution gave precedent to land over people which led to an oligarchy which led to slavery which led to the Civil War... Then after the Civil War, deals were made to give the Confederacy structural advantages that led to Jim Crow, which led to Civil Rights, which led to the MAGA movement, etc. etc.

It's the history of our country dude. Yeah its a fcking racist country, but I still love it, and love that throughout history MOST of us aspire to be better. Obviously you want to refuse history because you feel its a personal attack because I guess you self-identify as i dunno... It would be nice if skin color wasn't the dividing issue that it is, I agree.

It would also be nice if the people being discussed in this case could decide for themselves who it's okay to vote for in 2026 and who they see fit to represent them. Now many of them simply won't have that option.

Lines should never be drawn simply to benefit a certain skin color. What is the benefit? Why does one politician focus on one skin color more than another? You never hear a politician say “we are gonna do this and that for the white community”. Because it’s racist to say that. We are all Americans.

 

Yes, if the Left would stop acting like crybabies and just bend over and take it when the Right demonizes minorities for political gain, removes their contributions to history from museums and memorials, ends workplace protections for them, and stops them on the streets and demands their papers before shipping them off to countries they've never heard of, we would certainly all be equal then.

Your post ignores the core principle of democracy. One person -- One vote. "Groups" or "Races" do not "elect who they see fit". You would fail a grade school level civics class.

If you go to most inner city school districts (almost exclusively Democrat, btw), a minority of students are proficient in reading and a very small percentage (20-30%) are proficient in math. These are the 18 and 19-year olds that urban areas are pumping out each year into the workforce and the voting pool. It's sad actually. Why they continue to elect Democrats after a clear and obvious failure of liberal policies is a mystery.
