    Sengun
    DFS

    For

    Myles Turner
    AJ Green
    Ryan Rollins
    Future FRP

Mil gets the chance to field a different squad around Giannis. Turner and Portis improve our shooting from the big positions. Turner’s contracts long, but not terribly expensive.

we get a lot of value in two years of Ryan Rollins, and figuring out if he can be a impact starter in the league. AJ Green is a shooter on a longer deal.

Then trade FVV/DFS/2029 FRPs/FRP from Bucks for Wagner.

    Turner/Adams
    Smith/Eason/Uncle Jeff
    Durant/AJ Green
    Wagner/Sheppard
    Thompson/Rollins

Will Bruce Brown sign for the minimum again this year? I really liked him in the Nuggets games I saw this year and would love to add him.

Milwaukee will never put a non-shooting C next to Giannis. In fact they won’t even accept a backup C that can’t shoot. They would waive an injured Lillard to replace Brook Lopez with Myles Turner. They always have two stretch 5’s on the roster because they don’t want Giannis running into walls and packed paints the way Durant/Amen/Sengun/Green have done.

They’re not stupid like Udoka. Budenholzer already taught them that Giannis can’t get out of the first round with another non-shooter on the floor. You can’t have two non shooters on the floor.

Myles Turner can protect the rim and make 3’s. His salary of $25m is a bargain for that archetype. They’re very rare and they fit on any team. I like the idea of acquiring him or someone like him. I think your idea is possible if Giannis is being traded but in that case they are not giving us all their young pieces.

The trade has to be Herro, Ware and a #1 for Sengun. We need a center who can provide shot blocking.

Lots of us have been talking about this trade all year, but the problem is why would Riley want to trade Ware for Sengun, especially after Sengun’s regression this season. Miami’s frontcourt is one of the best in the league. They need a backcourt star to run the show with Adebayo and Ware as stretch frontcourt players. KD is a much better match for them, but Ware won’t be available for him. Maybe we can use Sengun to get Ware in a 3 way trade. Giannis is actually a really good fit for Miami. So maybe we can facilitate that.

I will grant you that KD is aging and slowing down... and I'm sure that is frustrating for him...
but that doesn't mean that his complaints are invalid and merely attempts at deflection...

It's not KD is slowing OR Sengun doesnt work hard enough... the two things are not mutually exclusive...

I view KDs head as something like... "damn, i fkd up turning that ball over - but gd can one of my teammates move to the ball and help a brother out when they see me getting swarmed? I cant be making some laser focus cross court pass to the corner with 2 guys draped on me..."

KD came to town to be the closer... to get buckets in crunch time... he didnt come here to pull amongst the most minutes in the league and carry this team on his shoulders every gd night at 37/38 yo...

I think after the lakers there a big drop off. We have no chance with this
    core group, and or Durant.

So enjoy the regular season guys!, but when the playoffs comes it will be a fast exit
year after year. Eventually once Durant and FVV come off the books, and they do what ever to
the players they have, they will either get the point, or someone in management will get fired.

They have a good team, but its just not good enough to compete without Shooters and True Floor
General to get you past spurs, wolves, Lakers, etc...

    Nobody competing with OKC.

It would be nice to see if the rockets could put together a team Around Durant and Giannis just to see but it probably pointless and not
even enought to get past okc anyways, probably why it wont happen... Gutting the team will be worse with just Durant and Giannis and zero bench.

Who knows what this team will be like in few years, Durant came here to pad stats, retire, and sell tickets during the regular season.....

Rockets got eliminated missing 3 of their top 8 players when the season started. (Durant is an allstar that still scores at an amazing rate, VanVleet is a bonafide starter that plays gritty defense and can push tempo, and Steven Adams is virtually a starter with elite defense, elite rebounding, elite size)

    Sengune/Adams
    Smith/Tari
    Amen
    Durant
    VanVleet/Sheppard

So folks are wanting major changes when 3 bonafide leaders (literal and physical) missed all or most of the playoff series against the Lakers.

Let me fix it for you. “VanVleet” is a bonafide scrub that plays gritty defense and kills tempo. Steven Adams is virtually a 15 min bench player, rarely plays more than half a season, can’t play defense except under the rim, shoots ft’s like Shaq. Durant is a Locker room cancer ball hog that turns the ball over at an alarming rate.

Sengun did not progress this yr, he regressed.

    Amen’s shooting did not progress.

Reed doesn’t look like a starting caliber nba player

Bari is shooting slightly above league average in yr 4

Tari regressed both in play and attitude.

KD will be 38 next season and beat the injury odds this season. U think he’s beating those injury odds next season?

Adam’s can never be trusted to stay healthy ever again.

Fred will be 33 coming off major ACL injury.

our old offseason full MLE acquisition looks completely washed.

what about this picture screams run it back? What about this picture doesn’t scream we need major changes?

flattened draft odds means the Rockets would theoretically get 3 cracks at the first pick, maybe a star prospect will emerge in the next year or so.

Houston, Brooklyn and Phoenix should all be right around mid tier.

two cracks next yr with flattened odds in a terrible draft with no franchise prospects? That’s not good. Keep in mind Brooklyn might be the worst team in the nba and could be penalized in the odds as a result.

bad international class. One of the worst HS senior classes/college freshmen next season. It’s bad. Our 2027 picks are fools gold. We should move them for a pick in this class (or even future picks)…if we can.

I think they should bail on the whole two timeline thing and move on from KD. Maybe you could move him to get into this year's draft? I think it could be a mistake to sell low on Sengun right now. I wonder if he would bounce back without KD in his head. To me, it's worth waiting to see.

Anthony Edwards class was predicted to be bad too.

Things can change and someone being overlooked could emerge.

Luka wasn't being hyped at this juncture and he emerged as a professional at 19.

I'm not speaking in absolutes about a bunch of kids who have over a year to prove their value. Also keep in mind NIL may get some guys who aren't going top 10 to return to college.

James Harden played two years in college and he turned out fine. I wouldn't rush to judgment on a bunch of kids.

And you know this how? Sports media? I, at least, want to watch the college season before being so sure. However, I would give a lot more than our 27 picks to get into the top 3 of this draft. Anything after that is a crap shot just like most other drafts.

This! I think Sengun’s regression on offense was mostly because of a bad fit and synergy with Durant. His defense was exposed, though. I don’t see much potential in that from an individual perspective, but he could be decent like he was before with better perimeter defense. The loss of FVV, Dillon, and even Jalen (compared to Durant and Reed) completely destroyed our team defense.
