Now is more the type of win we've grown accustomed to...a no-name guy comes up out of depths of irrelevance and spins a gem, and we push just enough runs across the plate. Now THAT is Astros baseball.
Not to mention playing in Coors all the time has to really **** with you as a pitcher. Seems to **** with everyone, really. Doomed franchise.
A's looking for more luck today. This time vs SEA. 3 -2 SAC, bottom 5th Sacramento is 2 games above 500 with a worse run-diff than Astros. Get that luck, SAC.
Looking good for 2-3 performances and then getting lit up sounds like the second best pitcher on the Astros right now so I’ll take it
Unfortunately, its also Astros baseball for fans to overreact after every win and loss. We are what we thought we were. Not a 10-15 team but also not a 15-10 team... somewhere in between.
altuve is struggling with the bat and also with the glove. not a good sign i'd say give him a day off but the astros don't have anyone else to sub for infield players
Hunter, Spencer, Lambart........then McCullers and one other and we should be a .600 team. Do need to cut some in the bullpen though...... DD
Thank you Astros for the win. Ease my pain of the Rockets a little bit. Arrighetti and Lambert look like our most reliable arms so far.
Amazing thing to me is that the Astros are only a game behind Seattle and only three and half out of the division lead! No one is really good in our division thus far.
At the start of the season, he was taking pitches and now he is back to swinging out of his shoes on a sweeper out of the zone.......can someone get him a smaller helmet so when he swings out of his shoes his batting helmet stays on
