I'll give our fans credit, they love their team.

And, a better coach may help but he's not gonna transform Sengun into Jokic unless he's a fukin magician

If this last few games hasn't convinced you that "building" around Sengun is farcical - the Baby Jokic is on you

Rockets should dump Sengun for expiring - I am not kidding, his value is going to be zero this off-season

Durant either keep or move, who cares? The Warriors probably want him.

Rockets should use the draft assets they have to DRAFT better players than they currently have.

This version of the team failed - it's over.

Stone, Pat Fertitta & Udoka got high on their own supply last year.

Basically they are now the Grizzlies from a few years ago, got good better than expected, but that was a false dawn. Rebuild again

The important thing is that Ime Udoka is fired. If he's not fired, it doesn't matter what you do.

Lol what young talent are you getting for Sengun - nobody wants that guy. Maybe you can ditch him to Toronto but you have to take back another overpaid player like Quickley or Poeltl

Pipe dream scenario: Udoka is gone. If Udoka is gone then keep Sengun.

But I'd keep Reed, Amen and KD. Jabari perhaps, for a bench role.

Too many of our players have fatal flaws: they can't defend or/and shoot the ball or both.

I agree. Need to restart all over and get better players.

And don't give up 4 years into the rebuild to bring in Paul George or James Harden...

You're borderline hysterical on this. "Nobody wants [Sengun]." Jeez.

Tell me a team that would want Sengun - honestly name one team that's going to pay $36 million a year for a minus defender at the defensive anchor position who is also 1) non shooter and 2) low efficiency finisher inside

I'm serious, name one team he's a good fit on. Toronto for trash is all I could come up with.

    Maybe Julius Randle?

It's ****in BLEAK when you consider the Sengun trade teams.

Lol at this very moment, especially if we lose this series my answer would be “I don’t care if all of them were gone” but after a week or two of getting over this embarrassing series I would have a better answer. One things for sure, if Alpy doesn’t get it together by the end of the playoffs, his fate may very well end up like Jalen Green especially if there’s still some kind of a chance that we can get Giannis

I don't even know at this point, I just know the problems start from the top. The first thing is to get a new coach and GM. Wish we could get a new owner too because I have no faith in them making good, even decent, selections in those areas.

We were in trouble as a fanbase the minute Tilman bought the team.

Rockets need Sengun. I think he can be your 3rd center piece to a championship team.

Amen, Jabari, Eason, FVV, DFS, everyone else for this lineup. Would be my trades. Durant we need the shooting.

Josh Giddy(Trade) Distributor , Can Shoot!
Austin Reeves(FA) - Can Shoot, Reed Sheppard- Can Shoot
    Kevin Durant
    - Can SHOOT
Paolo Banchero (Trade) - Can Shoot
    Sengun
    , Capela

Thats the team im rolling with IN 2026-27.

It’s taken me a long time to get to this point, but the reality is there’s no one I wouldn’t trade for a young franchise player, even Amen. If we get to keep someone, Amen is the guy. What an indictment on 6 yrs of high draft picks and cap space. Embarrassing frankly. Counting down the days till we get some real basketball people in this front office. We’ve got to stop letting the lawyer play GM.

Amen, Reed, Jabari you keep if Ime is gone. You keep everybody and run it back to get him fired next year if he’s still here. I think Stone gets fired first. Tito will want a scapegoat and Stone has the lesser contract to eat.

Wait --- you aren't confident that the Rockets will be ready to roll in the playoffs next year with a 38 year old KD, 33 year old FVV and 33 Adams leading the way? You don't buy that Amen and Sengun will become good outside shooters? Not buying Sheppard in 12 months becoming a 20 point a game sniper? Not so sure that Udoka will suddenly not be so stubborn and Stone won't be thin skinned?

I'm sure TF will get right on that .... on his mega yacht off the coast of Italy ... which was in part financed by not paying his employees during COVID.

In all seriousness, I hope they have a "come to Jesus" moment but I don't see it.

The tough thing for me is that I feel like the roster isn't being fulled utilized to its potential, so I give them an "incomplete". It's hard to judge who to keep and who to unload. It sounds like Stone and the FO are 100% backing Ime. But, I would love to see how this roster works with a more well rounded coach. I hate the Warriors with every fiber of my being, but imagine someone like Steve Kerr using Reed as "Steph-lite" and putting Alpi and KD in positions to succeed. I actually think the team has complimentary players - you've got Reed who shoots and has some court vision and can get others open shots (he's really good at the corner skip passes, but everyone has been bricking), you've got Amen who can get downhill and is a top 5 defender and does a lot of things well, you've got Alpi who has good court vision, and you have an all-timer great scorer in KD. On paper, those guys plus Jabari as a role player who can shoot it pretty well is a good fit. But, they are being misused and under utilized, IMO. I'd rather see them run it back with a better coach before just blowing it up and sending the pieces all over the league, and then seeing those pieces succeed in other situations.

This is spot on. Until we get someone in the FO who really knows basketball, it is somewhat pointless to discuss this. We need a real basketball person in the GM role who can evaluate the roster and make the adjustments where needed. That is not going to happen with Stone.
