So both 7th and 8th seeds advance, some excitement surely in the play-in, but feels like this is one of the things they might and maybe should get rid of in the future.
This is exactly why he’s so inconsistent. Unless you’re Curry or another unworldly shooter, it’s not sustainable to take that many shots and never get to the line if you’re going to be a great scorer in today’s game. You’ve got to be able to find ways to score when your shot isn’t falling, and unless he changes something, that will never happen for him.
He literally gets hammered and refs won’t call it - that chillwill guy on IG who used to make the slowmo highlight videos for Rockets - you would see all the times he got hacked driving and look at ref and still no call
Like it or not, getting to the line is an art. Guys like SGA, Harden, Avdija, Brunson, etc. are great at it. Jalen might get fouled and the refs miss it at times but he’s not anything like these guys - he plays at one speed and doesn’t initiate the contact like they do. This is why the NBA is my least favorite of the sports.
