Paolo has the moves of an elite player. Paolo lacks the decision making and the shooting of a star player in today's game. Take out the 20-30 best NBA players, and he may be the MVP. Those players exist, though. He isn't good enough to beat the best as the primary on ball guy, and his skill set is not conducive to playing off ball.

Maybe he can improve his shooting to overcome the hurdles such that he can be the on ball guy. Right now, it looks like the predraft fears are more likely correct that he isn't good enough to be the man, but will be good enough for a team to build around him for a team that just isn't good enough to be a contender. Luckily, the Magic have Franz and are in the East.

Julius Randle with aura. I was legit bummed out when we weren’t able to draft him. I thought he was going to be a superstar.

Whenever I think the Rockets are disappointing, I look at the Magic.

He wants to be carmelo Anthony so bad. You're 7 feet tall and 270 pounds of pure muscle. Get your ass in the post or take it to the baja.

Oh yeah, moving from Jamahl Mosley to Ime would really work out well for Pablo.

It would work out great - Ime Udoka thinks that it's called the "4" because you need at least 4 PFs on the floor at all times

I would guess stone? I know stone is still pissed the magic took Paolo when he was happen with him.
the way magic fans talk about how it seems like Paolo doesn't want to be there all signs point towards Paolo most likely always wanted to play for the rockets.

So did we dodge a bullet? Was Jabari actually the better player?

It's the value proposition Paolo Banchero 5 year $239 mil. vs Bari's 5-year $122 mil.

The left over money is used to either help sign guys like KD and eventually help pay for Reed and Amen.

#1 picks are built different. Some you can build around Cooper, Cade and Wemby.

    Paolo is that tier below.

    Then Risacher below Banchero.

I think the Paolo conundrum is simple - stop taking terrible shots/get a real PG/creator to run an offense.

Paolo has all the tools to be a pick & roll beast as the roll man but instead seems to be exclusively a dribble up long 2 shooter.

Obviously the math on that doesn't math. Shot diet is awful and his percentage of unassisted FGs is actually even higher than Kevin Freaking Durant in the Rockets PG less Udokaffense (and he ain't Kevin Durant shooting wise)

    Needs a change of scenery.
