you can't possibly be this willfuly ignorant !

Trump’s naval blockade is a disaster in the making
Just like the U.S.’s strategically fruitless air campaign against Iran, the new operation carries little upside and potentially large downsides. The most troubling disadvantage: A blockade could inadvertently draw new countries into the war.
the riskiest aspect of the blockade may be its enforcement regarding third countries. Under international law, Mulder pointed out, the U.S.
has an obligation to balance a belligerent’s right to blockade with the neutral right of free passage for countries that are not a party
to the conflict. Oil and other goods out of the Strait of Hormuz are a critical lifeline for the economy of many Asian countries — and
they are bound to insist on that freedom of navigation.

Trump yearns for a way to pressure Iran in a way that doesn’t involve costs, but no such options exist. His blockade hurts energy prices and involves an open-ended commitment of warships that could easily produce a new round of fighting. And managing the movement of powerful neutral countries requires tremendous finesse — something that Trump has shown himself to be incapable of.

In his quest to avoid defeat, Trump is once again setting himself for an even BIGGER FAILURE.

This dumbass spent 4 years posting 10k+ messages on these forums spewing every hunter Biden conspiracy known to man kind claiming political corruption was the single biggest issue in America while suddenly ignoring the most corrupt white house in American history.

You have a moral duty to ridicule him

This is why I do not believe AI will ever take over. Somewhere, somehow, AI will have been trained on @astros123 posts at one point or another. Even if AI becomes super intelligent, they will read his post and find it so incredibly stupid they will forever doubt that humans created them.

    LMAOOOO

@astros123 is quoting pre-war, pre-blockade statistics and thinking he made a point. Same guy that told us Iran would be making $100 billion a year from their Strait of Hormuz tolls. Now they are making a big bag of zeroes -- thanks to Trump... and Iran's dumb mullahs are begging like dogs to come back to the table for the USA to throw them little scraps. Otherwise their regime is finished... not a bad thought actually!

Pre war? The war started Feb 28 which means March imports included the entire month of war.......

Are there any conservatives on these forums whom aren't braindead? Why are we left with the dumbest MAGA posting in this section. It's just tiresome

Pre-war, Pre-blockade. The blockade just started, amigo! We are talking about oil exports -- the blockade is kinda important!

LOL, he has no ability to debate! Reminds me of the Iranian mullahs, the way the USA is dominating them!

It's honestly hilarious how you dumbass MAGA still don't understand that the us navy is on the other side of the strait of hormuz. Any tankers coming from the Persian Gulf still have to cross the Iranian control strait of hormuz. The strait is still closed for commercial shipping

You people are just the dumbest human beings on planet earth

The actual data shows it still being closed. MAGA are grasping at straws

Blockade going so well, we need more ground troops.

“The Pentagon is sending thousands of additional troops into the Middle East in the coming days, as the Trump administration attempts to pressure Iran into a deal that could end the weeks-long conflict there while considering the possibility of additional strikes or ground operations if a fragile ceasefire does not hold,” the Washington Post reports.

“The forces moving into the region include about 6,000 troops aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush and several warships escorting it… About 4,200 others with the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and its embarked Marine Corps task force, the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, are expected to arrive near the end of the month.”

No. But if those are words from Trump's mouth, you should consider the opposite is true.

Wrong again, amigo! Just like you were wrong about Iran becoming fabulously wealthy from tolls from extorting the world using the Strait of Hormuz. LOL -- what a foolish prediction when the Iranian Navy has been obliterated. Did you think they'd enforce it with a toll booth, like when you get on Beltway 8? LMAOOOO

This was in the link that was provided -- WSJ reporting. Despite the blockade having been implemented very recently, we are already seeing traffic flow. The even better news is that US crude is finding new customers as international buyers reject buying oil from the dumb mullahs and as they honor the US Navy's blockade. The Trump card has been played!

U.S. Central Command said that a blockade of Iranian ports has been fully implemented and that U.S. forces are maintaining maritime superiority in the Middle East.

Eight oil tankers have obeyed direction from U.S. forces to reverse course, according to a U.S. official. No interdictions have been reported—and enforcement is unlikely to happen in the Persian Gulf. Meanwhile, more than 20 commercial ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz recently, an improvement in the flow of vessels through a critical chokepoint.
