btw, Spurs have nothing to play for and Wemby will most likely be out. Denver knows they can beat the Wolves or Rockets in the first round and are only looking at playing either the Spurs or Thunder in the 2nd. I bet they like their chances better with the Spurs.

Final day will be amusing to watch

Will the Nuggets prioritize the easier first or second round matchup.

Likewise the Spurs could avoid OKC and Denver until the conference finals if they win the last game.

How badly do the Lakers want to play us instead of the Wolves.

Meanwhile we're a middling pile of mediocrity hoping the basketball gods take pity on us and give us a gift first round matchup so we can put off our embarrassment for a round.

 

I thought we were doing well, but then Ime reverted back to reducing Reed's role in favor or more Okogie/Tari/Tate. He's like an addict who can't quit.

Even when Reed is having an off night, he still scores more than those 3 guys combined plus he creates more space for the other players to operate. And after a performance like tonight, it's hard to believe that the Okogie/Tari/Tate's contributions on defense outweigh what Reed brings on offense. And above all else, Reed has room to grow whereas those guys are all finished products.

The real contenders have deep benches, but we've brought in one dimensional guys like Okogie, Tate, and DFS while also wasting space on Jeff Green. People say that Stone builds the roster, but it's clear from his rotations which guys Ime values.

In the end, I really wonder if we can beat a crippled Lakers team. But even if we do, it's basically meaningless. It's the worst of both worlds.
