This is this team’s Achilles heel…

 

Ime sat Reed down just after he made a three. He sat down for a long time after that and never got his rhythm back. This loss is purely on Ime.

 

i mean, it's an absolute certainty. but at least the rockets wont lose the first game at home.

 

I'm pretty sure almost every Rockets fan has commented on how horrible Tari's been for the past two months. In fact, it was literally two months ago on February 10 that his slump(if you want to be charitable and call it that) began.

 

Ime just...isn't a great coach for this team. He's not a title level coach for anybody IMO, but particularly guys like Sheppard, Durant and Sengun.

Defensive liabilities with offensive skills that the coach takes zero advantage of. You end up with the worst of both worlds.

 

I feel like taking a **** and then watching it for 2 hours would be a more enjoyable experience than that game

 

People hating Morey because he always strived to improve the team as the perceived threat of 'er mah gawd im asset not a person' was, and always will be one of the most idiotic - and funniest - things ive seen on Clutchfans.

 

If the Nuggets are smart..they'll tank that lasts Spurs game for homecourt advantage match up against the Rockets.....

 

Anyone that thinks this roster can win a championship if we had another coach is delusional. We got a good coach but the roster construction is flawed. I'm almost certain that another coach wouldn't make much difference, could make things worse. Ime got the most from this team. What other coach would you want to come here?

Indeed. I noticed that too, and it is completely surprising how incompetent this coach is.

 

Yeah Ime must doesn’t believe in Reed. He’s goin to push for him to be traded like he did Jalen. Whoever has a Reed jersey, you better start getting the most out of it before it become an momento this summer.


I thought he was turning a new leaf but the way he switched up onEeed towards the end of the winning streak makes me think he was just trying to raise Reed value for a trade

And the issue is because DFS is even WORSE, we can't even play him. Another DNP for our touted offseason acquisition. I don't even know what the plan is with him...do we jettison him after this season? Do we give him another offseason to recover from his ankle?

It's been a weird, injury-riddled, up-and-down season. Still have 50+ wins so I guess there's that

 

That's what I'm afraid of. I honestly wouldn't blame Denver if they did that. It would put them in the same bracket as OKC, but at least they'd have a very easy first round matchup.

I was his biggest critic and I’ll openly admit I was wrong.

people were right ina sense..we were spoiled. For all his faults he understood that there were core tenants for a championship team.

 

I like Josh Okogies defense, but his shot is terrible. Maybe we just were meant to lose this game. B2B, was evident with everybody's shot short it seemed like. Amen did show that he has all the tools to be that guy. Well except a 3 point shot.

Tari Eason can walk in the offseason for all I care. I think I realized something with him, when he had that jump ball with Slow-mo. He cannot jump, I've seen him in this stretch of games almost have a flat tire trying to dunk several times.

We need to retool this team in the offseason. We need 3 point shooters, besides Reed and Durant. We need legit wings who can drive and shoot from 3. 3s are a result of repetition. Mike Dantoni would make everyone hit 100 3s before they left practice. So some of this is on Ime as well.

I am excited about the playoffs and to see what this team can do after having regular rest every other day.
We shall see, but I think we are locked in the 5th seed. So LA here we come.

 

At least we’re healthy!
