That isn’t the deal. Why are people thinking the US has agreed to all of Iran’s demands? Negotiations are still on-going.

Social media posts are not news. They’re noise.

Trump said that is the starting point for negotiations. It may alter some, probably will be a couple of significant changes, but that's the framework Trump has said they are using.

If Trump thinks he's going to throw all of the ten points away and somehow negotiate the situation to his 15 points that Iran already categoricaly rejected, he should just go back to genocide and save us all some time.

The only peace Iran willing to accept at this point is one that is humiliating for the USA. Trump wont negotiate his way out of that most basic of conditions without the ground war that will destroy whatever is left of his support.

    didn't finish the other reply...

    Partnering...

I expected Trump to abandon Israel. I didn't expect him to backstab them so openly.

Israel is going to find a way to break the ceasefire, and maybe more.

“Trump said” is not a good starting point for understanding anything about what’s actually going on.

Iran also said, along with everybody else who has any information about the terms of the ceasefire.

Trump lies, but he doesn't lie in ways that make him look like an effeminate beta cuck loser. His lies always take the form of making him look bigger and more competent and more in control than he actually is.

Portraying himself as a loser and a doormat in a lie when he is actually in a stronger position would genuinely be a first.

We’ll see. I think he toggles abruptly between soft nice guy and insane genocidal maniac because he thinks this is somehow good for negotiation. Him publicly accepting the premise that it’s a starting point for negotiations is to get the Iranians to the table. We’ll see where it goes from here. But all these accounts acting like the US has already accepted Iran’s demands is not something I can take seriously. We have competing narratives rushing to cast sides as as the winners or losers. Best to tune it out and rely on what’s actually being reported by legitimate news sources.

I think the US engineered this ceasefire to negotiate a deal. Remember how Trump kept on insisting that we've been negotiating. It's more likely than not that in private, the US agreed to the Iran 10-point or whatever plans as the starting point, and publicly said otherwise. The US is in a much weaker position because it really doesn't have many good choices. The best deal is probably closer to what Iran wanted before the war + some kind of payment structure or revenue for reconstruction.

It’s hilarious because Iran refused to communicate directly with them, knowing they’re obscene liars relative to even the worst politicians.

So they had someone in between - a military that jailed the president of Pakistan on behalf of the United States on Trumped up charges - be the mediator.

That mediator is confirming that Lebanon was absolutely unambiguously part of the deal.

The largest scale example of a sore loser in history.

They can't even get their stories right on the ceasefire agreement. What a clown show.

The office of Israel’s prime minister said the two-week Middle East ceasefire did not include Lebanon, contrary to a statement made by mediator Pakistan – while Trump, after initially remaining silent, said Lebanon was “a separate skirmish” and not part of the deal.

Leave it to Trump to call Israel's attacks on Lebanon a "skirmish" with all the killings they have inflicted and thousands of people being displaced. Trump's idea of a skirmish is pretty warped, but so is his mental state.

Israel has carried out its largest attack on Lebanon since its war with Hezbollah began, killing at least 254 people and wounding 837, an assault that prompted Iranian officials to warn Tehran could withdraw from the ceasefire agreed with the US overnight.

Putin, Netaynhu, and Trump are all alike in thinking they can just take what's not theirs by military force, while killing anyone trying to stop them, and murdering thousands of civilians along the way.

you can never trust a ceasefire if Israel is involved…you can’t trust this buffoonish regime either

all that’s missing is Russia to complete the trio
