[IMG] Ugh I loathe Draymond. Just full of largely unjustified hate for him for all his non-basketball bs over the years. Even last year he tried to kick Amen in the face during his fall-down-kick-legs-out-like-a-b**** antics the game before he actually DID kick Tari during the exact same flop variation.

But I'll never forget a Worrell quote re: Draymond, "One of the great competitors of our generation." I hated hearing it then, I hate repeating it to myself now, but it's never been anything but a fact. And these pics below from the post-game on the court just show the respect our guys have for him even Bari after the dustup.

Still hate him on 94 ft, forever and always.

Draymond is a POS. I am glad Jabari killed the Warriors. He always plays well when he's mad.

Guy does know his game. He was calling for the double screens.

He also perfected the legal illegal screen. I've never seen anyone do it as well.

That’s as probably the best game our young core okayed against GSW outside of game 2. I be postseason. Amen Jabari, Sengun and Reed were all money last night. They don’t shrink from the curry flurry. They didnt let Draymond play the Jedi mind games again them. Didn’t let some GSW scrub go off for a career night

It's insane Curry was able to come back after that type of absence and play that well. I can't wait until that dude retires. Hard not to respect it though.

Sengun has been hitting 44% of wide open 3s since he came back from injury. You have to take those wide open shots or the opponent will completely ignore you at the 3pt line making the interior a lot more harder to operate.

NO, there is a vast difference between COACHING hard, and b****ING.....Ime doesn't have a ****ing clue.

What part of cursing someone out is coaching? What did Sengun learn there that he already didn't know, and acknowledged it by saying "My bad"?

Ime just wanted to berate, he is a **** coach, we won't win **** with him and until he is gone the Rockets will continue to get less out of a talented roster than they should.

Please stop making excuses for Bobby Knight 1980s behavior - it doesn't work with grown assed men.

    lol

“Udoka won’t hesitate to curse Sengun out in a film session or pull him from a game to intone defensive habits,” writes Michael Pina of The Ringer. “It’s a treatment Sengun craves.”

“I love tough coaches,” Sengun said, smiling, according to Pina’s latest feature story in The Ringer. “Sometimes I lose my [concentration]. I feel like when I’m working with coaches [who get] mad, I think that makes me wake up. It’s good for me.”

“When I signed on, he said he wants to be coached hard, like he was in Europe,” Udoka said with a chuckle, according to Pina. “And so I will oblige that and do what he’s asking.”

    lol, you must be 5

Player targeted by known unprofessional conduct sexual harasser publically says all is good and he actually likes tough treatment. If only he came out and said "yea eff this guy", that way we'd know for sure

It seems you've turned your shtick into complaining about udoka criticizers

The issue isn't Ime coaching hard, it's Ime coaching hard while having a room temperature IQ... Celsius.

Yeah I really couldn't care less about players respecting him, I will never. It's that same "competitiveness" that people use as an excuse for his psychotic behavior. If I met him in real life, no way I'd shake his hand. I'd tell him he's been wrong for his act on the court and he's lucky the league has allowed him to just play without seriously addressing his issues. Seek help, would be my last words.

I love when the Rockets beat the Warriors, even when they’re 10th place also-rans. I hope this is the beginning of a long win streak against them as Curry and Green continue to deteriorate and Golden State returns to their irrelevance of the 1980s, 1990s, and the aughts.

I don't know man, that came directly from Alpi's mouth. He didn't have to say it. I don't agree with it at all, but it didn't seem to mess up his flow and even hit the game winning shot.

Respect. I disagree but respect your stance.

I played w/ the same type of edge as Draymond relative to the avg competition I played against. I fell short of the extra physical nonsense but I always overperformed my physical attributes, others expectations, and always initiated contact and physicality off-ball. It's just the way I played so I always find that general playstyle endearing. And I didn't care if I scored 1 or 30 as long as we won.

I can appreciate his competitive edge and some of those shared attributes above. I also know where it leads when you don't have enough discipline which he of course doesn't. Ultimately, anytime I see commentators and players who SHOULD be pissed at him (b/c he costs them money, fame, legacy, etc) in fact treat him the opposite I just rethink my hate a bit.

    A bit.

This is all true until there are 5 minutes left in the game and KD checks back in and we try to force feed him the ball and our lead vanishes. Like what are we even doing…

The issue with me is he’s always been selective about his coaching hard episodes. He only does that to the yong core. Vets needs that same treatment. Kd is our best player. He’s made mistake out there too that been costly and bad decisions jsut like Sengun. He made one last night whe he called out a lazy switch on Sengun that led to a bucket inthe last two minutes because he didn’t want to play that sticky defense you have to on Steph
