He was an excellent boxer. A little overrated. Might have stolen a big fight. Didn't know he was a leftist icon.
Donald Trump has been accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct by at least 22 different women. He's been held civilly liable for rape. I won't even touch the Epstein stuff. You know what the difference is between us and you? All those street signs and everything about Chavez will be gone within the year, assuming they're true. He will no longer be held in high regard. Trump will continue to be President as you continue to admire him. Rape is immoral and wrong no matter who it is doing the crime. For you its negotiable. For it to be wrong it has to be a Democrat.
Time to rename these schools after Bad Bunny @Salvy @basso @LosPollosHermanos @Os Trigonum @Space Ghost @CrixusTheUndefeatedGaul @RB713
I remember when all the young, wannabe radical and cool lefties were fawning over Che Guevara at the same time. It was so stupid.
He was but there were 10 seconds left. Taylor fought an amazing fight. He deserved to either helmet knocked out or finished. That fight ruined him though. I saw an interview with him and he could barely speak and was broke. Boxing is a brutal sport
Yeah the golden age of boxing is long gone. The fighters today do not compare. There are many more viable, less barbaric ways to pull yourself out of poverty today.
1. Maybe once the left cancel's C. Chavez, the GOP can take him up as a hero. Would fit their obsession with "owning the libs" and also their defense of sexual predators! And we don't have to waste any of those nice statues. Trump could bring that bust back into the oval office. 2. I am already seeing people on the left call Chavez a complete fraud who didn't ever genuinely care about workers, etc. Um... that's really dumb. Deifying people is dumb but so is pretending everything they do is 100% good or 100% bad. Sometimes, a person can do great things and be a complete ******* to some people close to them, and all at the same time. 3. We really have to quit naming things after people. Feet of clay, etc. In SF, they're already talking about renaming C. Chavez St. after his surviving co-founder, Dolores Huerta. What if we find out she used to sell drugs on the side, or embezzled money via a non-profit, or steals cars for ya-yas? Individuals are full of partially-hidden disappointments.
