Thank god that Kharg Island is not susceptible to Iranian drone attacks ... and ... there is not a **** ton of oil hanging around to go boom if the Iranians did.

They're all going to be wearing Crocks or flip-flops. A couple of them have been solemnly awarded those Donald Trump Florsheim shoes for meritorious service, oversized about three sizes as is normal.

Therefore technically not boots on the ground. Suck it libs. MAGA big brains defeat the libtards again!

On War - Iran wants compensation for damages as a condition of ending the war

    https://www.reuters.com/world/middl...ikely-change-foreign-minister-says-2026-03-18

DUBAI, March 18 (Reuters) - Iran's stance against the development of nuclear weapons will not significantly change, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told Al Jazeera in remarks relayed by Iranian media on Wednesday, cautioning that the new supreme leader is yet to publicly express his view on ‌the matter.

Former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed early in the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran, opposed the development of weapons of mass destruction in a fatwa, or religious edict, issued in the early 2000s.

A NEW PROTOCOL FOR THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ
Iran's foreign minister said he believed that after the war comes to an end, countries that border the Gulf should draft a new protocol for the Strait of Hormuz, to ensure that safe passage through the narrow waterway is carried out under certain conditions aligned with Iranian and regional interests.

Iran shut the vital energy gateway, through which a fifth of global oil and liquefied gas passes, saying it "won't even allow a litre of oil" to reach the U.S., Israel and their partners. On Tuesday, Iran's parliament speaker tweeted that the ‌Strait of Hormuz' situation won't return to its pre-war conditions. The U.S. has sought to build a naval coalition to escort vessels navigating the strait, with most NATO allies saying they don't want to get involved in military operations against Iran. NATO-member France said it would only consider a joint international coalition to secure passage through the strait following a ceasefire and prior negotiations with Tehran.

Araqchi said an end to the war was only conceivable if the conflict is permanently over throughout the region and Iran receives compensation for damages incurred.

    Been there, failed at that.

(as an aside, sadly, nuke cannot be taken off the table as an offensive weapon with this POTUS)

Your trolling doesn't work the way you think it does. Reuters is one of the most established wire services in the world - the same one your favorite outlets copy from daily. I'm still here if you actually have something resembling a sensible and logical stance.

Let's start with putting Jared, Ivanka, Barron, Eric, and Don Jr. and Tiffany on a boat patrolling the straight.

Baghdad Bob was a regime spokesman. Reuters is an independent wire service. Not the same thing. And since you brought up Baghdad Bob, it's worth pointing out the irony: dismissing any source that challenges your side while defending everything from one political figure without question is exactly what Baghdad Bob did. Projection is a powerful thing.

You still don’t comprehend it do you? The mere fact that your cherished, esteemed news source Reuters picked up that fake news shiit from Tehran Ted without a disclaimer shows you that Reuters ain’t legit as you think it is.

I know this makes you maga bros feel like your cult leader is powerful and in turn makes you feel powerful, but the only thing Trump and Bibi are doing is eliminating people they could be negotiating with, and making it more and more likely that Trump gets us in a prolonged war for years and years because of the vacuum created that left door open for terrorist groups to take power.

Every day there is another killing of an Iranian official is another day where the chances of Trump’s presidency collapsing on itself becomes increasingly likely and his legacy becomes this war of choice he started with no plan at all.

boo hoo. Not my fault you cant understand the very real possibility of the previous Iran regime would be more than happy to nuke Israel or surrounding pro west countries. Are you so dumb and blind to not see the indiscriminate bombing of civilian targets? We call that terrorism. And you are so blindly partisan you cant tell the difference.

further, i never advocated bombing Iran. But, FAFO

Bibi has a lot more civilians, hospitals, homes, and infrastructure to blow up. It wouldn't surprise me if he bombed the oil fields and nuclear facility for fun. If Gaza tells you anything, he doesn't care about killing women and children.
