I'm not sure if this has been asked before or if it is even a possibility. Do any of y'all see a scenario where Fertita relocates the team to Vegas with his other business venture? The NBA wants to have a franchise there and I'm sure there would be some sort of profit for him to do it. That would be horrible, but anything is possible and cities have lost their franchises for lots of unnecessary reasons. Just a question.and wanted to know what Clutchfans thought, I've had that feeling since he bought the team and "rebuilt" it. .

If he wanted to relocate a team, he could prob get one for a sub billion rather than pay Les 2.2B.

Plus his base is still Houston-kemah area with strong ties to the community so he loses all credibility if he moves the "7th most valuable NBA franchise" for no good reason.

Little bit strange for an NBA team.

Just for fun, here’s the football stadium for Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. Get your tinfoil hats ready...

I think NBA talent pool is getting too deep and league execs know it. If a franchise goes to Vegas it would be an expansion team.

This guy is in the way.

Also, Tilman and the other big gaming companies want what would be close to a monopoly in the big markets in Texas. One or two big resorts in each market, which would be great for the gaming company, but would be bad for the average Texan. If the goal is to create jobs and tax revenue, then creating a monopoly for a chosen few is the wrong way to do it. Texas politicians have already been showered with money for years by the gaming companies in order to guarantee they will get what they want.

It sickens me that the Rockets' owner is gambling tycoon. Even worse than being a "normal" billionaire through finance or something like that, which is already bad enough.
